Car Dealership Site Development
ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Jigsaw was retained to prepare a 4-acre site for the new location of a car dealership. This site preparation required the mass excavation of 70,000 cubic yards of rock within close proximity of multiple businesses and residential subdivisions and adjacent to a busy highway intersection. Site work was further complicated due to the existence of a vast array of underground and aerial utilities. A surface mine milling machine allowed a unique approach for rock liberation on this project. This approach reduced owner liability while creating a graded material that was suitable for use under structure foundations, thereby reducing overall project cost and liabilities to the owner.
